Pool

 

I am a still

silent

dark

deep pool.

 

Calm

opaque

and always

undisturbed.

 

Yet the presence

of you

sends ripples

radiating

in urgent

ever wider

ever-growing

ever increasing

circles.

 

Disturbing

the surface

and far

below.
