Hesitate

06 May

Standing

at the edge

she waits

half hoping

for a gust of wind

a friendly push

or a sudden

twist of fate.

But only she

can decide

whether to jump

or to hesitate.

What an accurate description of feelings and uncertain times.

Stay on the edge, so still, silent, stiff and unhappy.
Turn back to look, spat on, loose and lie to live on lust, as no love to be found.
Jump, forgive, means, free fall, frenzied and finding a concealed fairytale of old.

I feel I’ve already taken the leap of faith over and over but to mo prevail. What does a girl gotta do more? The ball is in his court.
