To ease the ache

03 Feb

The trees

are naked

the sky

is grey

the day

is silent

the snowdrops

virgin white.

.

I am yearning

for something

nameless

someone

curious

someone

restless

distant beauty

beyond my reach.

.

I write these words

to ease the ache.

.

.
