Once upon a time
by the sea
where the water
kisses the sand
I held a perfect
salt-bleached shell
to my ear.
The voice I heard
from within
was yours.

Not a brand new post. But when I listen again perhaps the voice I hear will be yours.

Thank you. Sometimes I spend longer looking for the image than I do writing the words.

You always find such beautiful ones. And I know what you mean… there is a particular kind of art, I think, to pairing words with just the right image. It matters. 🖤
