There is no threat
of snow
in these dark skies
yet I imagine
pure
white
perfect
icy flakes
melting
on your exquisite skin
and being captured
in the storm
of your hair.

I wrote this perhaps four years ago on a Winter’s day when the weather was mild. Today my world is white with snow and it seems apt to repeat it.
Photography believed to be by SoliArt and featured on FiveHundredpx. If I am wrong and this belongs to you I will credit or remove. A lovely image.

I would imagine snow is rarer in Delhi. Smiles. My pleasure.

But I’m not talking about Delhi. It’s cold here in Nainital and we get a bit of snowfall almost every year. Your ancestors once lived here. In fact, our first house was a charming old English cottage with stone walls and huge bay windows.

Ah, then that explains it. Smiles. The snow here has now gone.
