Unblind me

01 Dec

A dark, dense

unforgiving night

is stalking

this ancient house.

Its blackness

has seeped through

the leaded windows

invaded the room

stolen the light

and touched my eyes.

Only your beauty

can unblind me.

Not new – I have posted this before – but only your beauty can unblind me.

I found this charming photograph on the internet, but have been unable to locate its creator with any certainty. If it belongs to you, please let me know and I will either credit you, or remove it.
