Reading Shakespeare

15 May

I approach life

and love

as if reading

Shakespeare,

becoming lost

in the Tragedies,

laughing

with the Comedies,

and ignoring

the Histories.

One of my most prized possessions is a complete work of Shakespeare from Yale University. It was part of an award I won in high school and while everyone else got sweatshirts and trinkets, I received Shakespeare. It’s six inches thick and has every play and sonnet. I treasure it.

Another beautiful piece, good Sir. Thank you for sharing it with us.
