Not poetry

03 May

I have reluctantly realized

thinking of you

and writing your name

in midnight blue ink

on parchment paper

over and over

and over and over

while I whisper

each syllable

does not count

as poetry

though it feels like it

to me.

This is great! I think maybe it’s poetry in a way 😉

It’s definitely poetry when you write about it like this.

I loved this!! Brilliantly clever!! I thought it was a perfect description and visualization of being mesmerized and sent it to someone so they would understand what I meant when I used the word! Ha! And your comment at the end was a crack up – still not poetry!! Yeah, but it is now that you’ve written about it like you did!! Bravo!!!
