Distant presence

01 Dec

Your distant presence

curls around me

like smoke

like liquid

like ivy

like a cat

like a dancer

like a lover

your exquisite body

finding

the perfect fit.

All I have published is under my own name. And my pseudonym here and my real name never cross paths. Smiles. But thank you.

            Disappointing, but I understand.

I keep coming back to this, it’s beautiful. Sometimes distances can feel magnified, but when written like this, it’s as though they’re nothing.

It is true. Sometimes the intimacy is so perfect, the connection so exquisite, distance has no dominion. Smiles.
