I have her beauty hard-wired into me
I have known it forever.
My first school boy fantasies were of her. She has never changed. The same hair, eyes, mouth, chin, nose. The same height, weight, posture and stance. The same shoulders, breasts, hips, arse and thighs.
The same mix of swagger and vulnerability, of shyness and chatter, of independence and submission, of contemplation and fun
Her beauty is burned into my soul.
And I have found her
and owned her.
Once, twice, even three times.
Almost.
Never.
I keep believing. Although my time here is running out.
Perhaps one day ….

This is not new. I posted it two years ago, and a year ago. But indulge me.

I know this feeling, now more than ever. Mine is not physical features.but a felt sense, a look in his eyes. A dark prince, a compassionate wolf, an unconditionally loving soul with a hunger for my imperfections. To be taken care of even while knowing I can full well take care of myself. I suppose it’s a drive we all have….to be seen, and loved, for all of what is seen.

To admire, and to be admired. To adore and be adored. To trust and be trusted.
Without conditions or judgements. It is in all of us perhaps.

Yes, exactly…the communication and expression of it does get tricky doesn’t it? A had around the throat for some, making a “happy home” for others. When the two don’t match…such pain.

Indeed. I know that well. And yet have found joy despite it.

Compromise I can handle….it’s actually the all or nothing that I am struggling with. Thank you for your kind communication.

All or nothing is for the young, the naive, or pure idealists. It does not work.

To be able to find the right yin to your yang while living a purposeful life, maybe that’s why we are here. Don’t close yourself off to another love. It comes in many forms.
