Dancer

08 Sep

Art by Sergio Martinez Cifuentes

She has the body

of a dancer

the way she walks

the way she moves

the way she twists

the way she turns

the way she glides

the way she makes

all she wears

seem special.

She has the look

of a woman

who utterly knows

her body

and its power.

This is one of those times when the painting had power over the poem

I like this. Perfect description for a dancer.

She looks so much like Ashley Jones who is an American actress. I would almost say it is a painting of her. Stunning.

Such a lovely image, your words have done justice to this beauty.

I love the last stanza of your delightful tribute to this gorgeous creature.

Smiles. I had finished this post and was looking for an illustration. I found this painting, and it profoundly altered it, particularly the last stanza.

And, despite my liking for sexually submissive women – sexually is the only part that I want to be submissive. I am drawn to strong, independent creatures. Smiles.
