Shrinking miles

21 Sep

Art by C M Dudash

If only

I could take giant strides

across land and sea

mountain and stream

forest and tundra

snow and desert

swallowing distance

shrinking miles

eating geography

I would claim

your beauty

and body

and soul

“swallowing distance” BEAUTIFUL! Absolutely beautiful. Oh, to be the object of your affections. A truly delightful fantasy for sure.
