I will adore you

12 Apr

jack-vettriano-11

I will adore you.

I will admire you and respect you.

I will support you when the whole world is against you, or even just a small part of it. I will take your side irrespective of whose side you are on. I will comfort you when you are hurt, lift you when you are down, make your spirits soar when you least expect it.

I will instruct you, mentor you, guide you. I will, as far as in my power, keep you safe. I will encourage you, enthuse you, motivate you. I will paint your body with words in ways that make you glow. I will be proud of you. I will study every inch of you and pour my attention over you like honey.

I will thrill you, tease you, and arouse you. I will help you fulfill your wildest fantasies, your darkest desires, your deepest needs. I will touch you in ways beyond your imagination. I will take you to climaxes that leave you utterly sated and complete.

I will amplify your joy, soften your sorrow, fill your days with light, and touch your nights with romance.

I will make you laugh. I will kiss away your tears.

I will give you confidence, give you strength, give you self-belief. I will worship your beauty, your sensuality, your body. I will hymn your breasts, your buttocks your belly, your shoulders, your throat, your back, your thighs. I will make your body sing with pleasure and pain.

You will be my submissive, my lover, my muse, my friend. You will belong. I will make you feel valued, worthy, special, unique, perfect.

I will adore you.

But I will not love you.

Regardless of how close, how entwined, how enraptured we become.

For I love another. I have loved her forever.

I will always love her.

She is the love of my life.

I would love for you to paint your words all over me. Love is incredibly overrated anyway. 🙂

If you have painted such lovely..no, not lovely, beautiful words for your submissive, I cannot imagine how you would leave us more entranced if you paint the words for love.

This has turned to be one of my favorites in this “she wears my ring” category. I want to comment more but I am made speechless by it.

I have been pondering over one of the above comments and I have to wonder if ‘she’ does in fact feel used, in the vanilla sense, if she walks into such a relationship with her eyes wide open…much food for thought.

How sad to say you will not love her, when our souls abound with love and are limitless in its capacity. In one sense your description of what you give her abounds with love, just might not be the consuming love of the love of your life… but then maybe it is just wishful thinking on my part that you could love her just a little bit.

“We love, but we are not lovers.” Yes. And though it is deep, it is not enough. But neither is being merely enough. Perhaps some just need both? Even if in different people.

    I love this.
Had same conversation with my Dom not long ago. And although your words are maybe more beautiful and poetic, he said the same thing. I thought that knowledge, that he will never love me, would break my heart and make me walk away but it didn’t.
My respect and trust in him has grown instead.

“We love, but are not lovers” – so much in so few words.

Even the greatest loves or affinities of the heart pale in comparison to the Deepest love of our souls.

So beautifully written – capturing the colors and flavours in embracing the bittersweet – and yet, still, A Forever Never carries its own beauty and peace.

What is all of that, if not love? How sad that you deny it. It was a stabbing betrayal at the end, there. You withhold the pièce de résistance, resulting in a dissatisfactory relationship.

Forgive my brazen comment, kind sir. Your writing is obviously powerful, to summon such strong feelings from me. As we do not know each other, please do not take it as any criticism upon your self, but rather an emotional response generated by the power of your prose.

I’ve now read through all of the other entries filed under “Wears my Ring,” and I’m now burdened to tears. I’m glad you have what you have with She who wears your ring, but I’m shredded by all that you miss, and relive through your writing.
