Act Dangerously

13 Feb

Romantic that I am, I adore Valentine’s Day.

Not so much for the exchange of cards, gifts and supper between those who are already lovers.  Although I can see the romance, the affirmation, the enchantment and the intimacy – I have fallen under its amorous spell often enough

But what really makes February the fourteenth special is that it provides almost-strangers the perfect excuse and the ideal opportunity to flirt outrageously.

And to act dangerously.

If only acting so dangerously didn’t have the chance of a tragic, broken mess of a heart in the end. I love too much, give too much, and in general care too much. I’m an eternal romantic for everyone but me. 🙂

Wish you and everyone a very romantic and Happy Valentine’s Day! 🙂

A broken heart is always the risk we take, we romantics.

I hope your day is fun

Ever wonderful. Your pen is inspired and I bow to its talent.

Love this…Well dangerous must be contagious. Today an acquaintance had already requested that I send him a naked pic of my pretty parts. I replied, “its all pretty so what parts would that be?” (Laughing).

My best Valentines days have been spent with my truest loves, my best friend, and my daughter. Tomorrow I will have a big fat steak medium rare, some good wine and some valentine cookies with my daughter. My best friend and I used to go out to dinner and have champagne and then treat ourselves to chocolate. Flirting is fun, we did that too. Everyone deserves to feel attractive, especially on such a lonely day for those of us without lovers. I may make it a tradition, to flirt wildly with others on this day, especially those who seem to need it. Great post as usual!

Stepping outside your comfort zone can be exhilarating…even without risking your heart.

Smiles. Ah, dangerous and brave. And very kind. It might well have been my only one. Thank you

“And to act dangerously” – Ain’t that the truth. You have quite a way of turning mundane words into something not mundane at all. *Swoon*

Absolutely, a beautiful day it was to entice and embrace even the most dull of illusions.
    Hope Yours was well, Sir.

Thank you. In truth the commercialisation/sickly sweet of it depresses me a little. But there is romance in there somewhere.
And a reason to be bold.

I agree. There is never anything to lose in pursuing love and I hope there is a little romance left in the world somewhere, for all of us.

I am happy to report that the man in line behind me at the market and the waiter who served my margarita were quite witty and interesting (smile)
