Over You
She caught my eye
She’s something new.
A different dress
A different shoe.
And now I know
I’m over you.
I gave her words
Like I did with you.
A different smile
A different view.
And now I know
I’m over you.
She broke my heart
Far worse than you.
A different pain
A different blue.
And now I know
I’m over you.

This is probably one of the most vicious poems I have ever written. Simple and cruel. We lash out when we are hurt …
A writers strange life.

Ouch… Vicious. Words can be so powerful.
But I think in order to move on and away from that person one must do what certain things to heal oneself.
Glad she never saw it.

I am glad too. She was a darling submissive girl with the softest scottish accent and a bewitching smile. She didn’t deserve the poem
